Saffery Rotary Walk has been a year-round project for Buzz  Creative Studio involving all departments of our team. Through managing social media platforms, creating graphics, posters, and signage to joining forces on the day itself to produce photography, videography, and drone content to use in a yearly presentation video, we’ve used our variety of skill-sets to provide engagement and interactive media across their platforms.

We used a mix of digital media, such as social media, email marketing, and radio to reach a younger audience as well as physical marketing to continue keeping the existing demographic engaged. Press releases, posters and signage for on-the-day were created so all areas of marketing were covered throughout the months leading up to the walk.

ephemera promoting the walks inclusivity to reach those not on social media

Part of our marketing involved creating a poster for all companies across Guernsey. We used email marketing to promote the walk to businesses, offering corporate relay teams and the family walks.

The Instagram filter was particularly successful on the day and provided the walkers with a means to post stories on their experience of the walk throughout the day. It also gave us the opportunity to post 1st hand content about the walk from walkers themselves.

This was the first year working with Buzz Creative Studio on the Saffery Rotary Walk. They were very proactive and knowledgeable across social and creative executions throughout the campaign. The quality of their creative work has been amazing, they have really helped generate and maintain a visual consistency across all channels, and with the addition of some incredible video footage promoting the Walk we saw some great social media coverage.

 

The team are friendly and open to ideas, always coming to meetings with enthusiasm and fresh thinking, and I am looking forward to seeing the work produced in the future as we continue to work with Buzz Creative Studio.

A massive group team effort to capture every moment of the walk from the early morning start, to sunrise cliff walks, through to pit-stops around the island and the glorious moment of crossing the finish line we had multiple cameras island-wide including stunning drone footage to create a unique video moment to cherish the walk and walkers for many years to come.
